ANITA CABLER MATTHEWS

My name is Anita Cabler Matthews.  A wife, a mother and a homemaker, that was my goal at a very young age, right out of high school. I think my desire to be a stay-at-home mother along with the fact I was raised by a stay-at-home mother of 7, taught me the value of being thrifty! 

When my youngest entered middle school, I entered the work force using my talent of sewing in the textile industry that was booming in this area. When those jobs left the country, I spent a couple of years taking care of my parents as their health started to decline. It was through those times that I began a journey of taking care of the elderly for 17 years before retiring. After taking care of Gods little folks and their families, a friend suggested a dish site she thought I would enjoy, knowing my love dishes and thrifting! As they say, the rest is history! 

After giving so much of myself to others, I found something so rewarding I could do for my enjoyment all while sharing the beauty with others!
